Consumption of renewable energy is expected to rise by 11%, but demand from developing countries will push the use of fossil fuels to new records. Development of more energy-efficient solutions, carbon capture technologies and sustainable materials, are essential to mitigate the impact of climate change and transition towards a greener future.

Connectivity: The Internet of Things (IoT) connects devices and creating a vast network of interlinked objects. Multi-access edge computing (MEC), and 5G voice over new radio (VoNR) aim to decrease latency and unlock more 5G applications. On top of that, regulators may open new high-, mid-, and low-band spectrum for commercial 5G services. That added capacity will greatly boost wireless speeds.

Democratized Technology: This is the trend towards making advanced technologies accessible to a wider audience, empowering individuals, and organizations to create and innovate. User-friendly tools and platforms are enabling non-experts to develop applications, design websites, and engage with cutting-edge technologies. This democratization is fostering a wave of innovation, allowing individuals to contribute to the technological landscape and solve real-world challenges.
